Marvin watched through the one-way glass. He could see her; she couldn't see him. Marvin had seen her around the building before, she was very chipper always saying 'hello' to all passersby as she hurried to complete her work.
In a few minutes, he would have her personality, education, and work experience. She would be let go with a severance package of two years' salary. She wouldn't be needed; he would be the one vacuuming the halls and emptying the trash baskets in a pink jumper and white blouse from now on.
When the police arrived to arrest him for his experiments, they would have to let him go. He wouldn't have any idea what they were talking about. He'll be just a poor member of the service staff.
